U.S. Naval Academy Band Superintendent’s Combo (June 21)
The Superintendent’s Combo is a talented group that supports the events hosted by the Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy. They often play jazz standards and original compositions for U.S. Presidents, foreign heads of state, and other dignitaries.
U.S. Navy Band: The Cruisers (June 23)
The Cruisers are the Navy’s premier contemporary ensemble that features eight dynamic performers. Named for the Navy’s multi-commissioned ship the Cruiser, this group formed in 1999 and entertains audiences across the United States. They play a variety of genres such as jazz, rhythm and blues, and classic rock.
Pork Donut (June 30)
Made up of local police officers, Pork Donut has rocked Southern Maryland’s acoustic scene for ten years. Those who enjoy listening to classic rock and country hits won’t want to miss this lively performance.
John Luskey Band (July 14)
This band’s style is described as “good time country” as it combines old and new with a hint of rock and Americana. They were the first unsigned band to play at the 98.7 WMZQ Fest three years straight, and they have shared the stage with artists such as Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts.
