Visit the Charles County Public Library

books

Calling a St. Charles Apartment home offers many benefits, and its close proximity to the Charles County Public Library is a big one! With three convenient locations, a large collection of materials to borrow, and valuable services and resources there are tons of great reasons to head over and get your library card today!

Patrons of the library have access to computers, as well as Wi-Fi Internet service. You can print, copy, scan and take care of all your business needs in one place. Need to brush up on computer skills? Take a computer class, like the upcoming Microsoft Office Basics, Computer Basics, or Library Search Basics.

When you finish reading the latest bestseller, join one of the book discussion clubs. The general discussion club is held the first Saturday of each month at 9:30, or you can check out the writers of color club, or the Clark Senior Center Club.

Feeling crafty? There are opportunities to create at the library. Beginner and experienced needle crafters can join the Crochet and Knitting Club, or the Off the Hook Crochet group. Bring what ever you are working on to get guidance and inspiration from your fellow knitters and “crocheters.”

The library also holds many special events. Take adult yoga, or a seminar on making your home energy-efficient. Join the Life Journeys Writers Club to learn to write about special memories and life experiences. Coming soon is a fun event called the Bad Book Beatdown at Boston’s. Bring books that you have read and hated to Boston’s Restaurant to vent!

Joining the library has many rewards and we hope you’ll head over soon! Please contact us to learn more about our community.
